I was wondering if anyone who reads this could tell me if I did anything wrong and what I could have done better :) Around 10pm I arrive at the house of one of my friends to smoke and have a drink watching YouTube and music etc with one other friend (there is 3 of us now). All was calm. At midnight, the host notifies us he’s invited a girl and she’s bringing 2 of her friends. These girls are 2 years below me however. I thought, ok, this could be my chance to practice chatting up some girls and generally spending time with them. When they arrive I give each of them a hug and French ‘bisous’ (I live in France) and introduce myself, immediately forgetting their names. This is where the issue comes up: As the night goes on I can tell straight away that the ‘leader’ of this girls group was onto me: kept pouring me alcohol and saying she wants to get me drunk while also drinking a lot herself, she took my coat off to give me a massage, and always grabbed me while walking past. The problem was the host was really attracted to this girl and was trying to chat her up the whole night (to no avail). When she was massaging me I could tell he was getting a bit jealous because he wasn’t getting her attention. I’m confident I could have made out with this girl and even fucked her considering the circumstances but I was really trying to focus on not pissing off the host (and therefore potentially never get invited to his house again). I’m also a firm believer in ‘bros before hoes’ and value my relationships with guy friends more than girls. We all went separate ways at about 2am hugged goodbye and whatever. I would appreciate if you could tell me something I could have done during that night to maybe get closer to her without angering the host, or maybe I should have not been concerned about him at all (?).
