A little about me: I'm an introvert and almost always keep to myself 20yo, 6'1'', 175 lbs Dont want to sound like a dick and say I'm good looking, but people tell me I am... I have little experience with girls, and wanted to meet more. I'm just getting past approach anxeity, and recently started doing cold approaches, 2 so far... got tired of the shitty feeling you get after not talking to cute girls. I've yet to have a bad experience, but both went pretty much the same way.

  1. Girl at my work is shopping with her mom, her mom walks away for a few mins, I walk up nervous as shit to her side, and say "Hi, this is really random, but I think your cute, do you have a boyfriend?" (pretty sure I stuttered at some point lol) She looks up at me, smiles and says "sorry I do have a boyfriend" I responded with "dammit, well I'm gunna get back to work now" and walked away.

  2. Went into a bass pro shop at the mall, saw a cute girl who worked there, took my time deciding what to say... after a few mins of walking around I saw her again, I walk up to her, (kind of stutter immediately this time sadface...) and said "Hi can you help me find something?" she says "Sure what can I find for you?" I pause and say ' I'm just joking I don't need help finding anything, I just thought you were cute, and wanted to come talk to you" She laughs and thanks me, I Introduce myself this time, she tells me her name and we shake hands. Then I ask "do you have a boy friend?" she says she does and apologizes, I say dam, hes a lucky guy, she apologizes some more... and I say well im gunna go now.

Is it bad to ask if she has a boyfriend so early on? I feel like im getting nervous and basically bailing, and skipping way ahead or something... I feel like it would be better for me to not ask so quick, so even if she does have one, I can get more experience by furthering the convo first. Any advice is appreciated.
