Honestly, those feelings usually go away when you have a sense of abundance. Once you understand that you can get a girl at any time, and that you don't need to be tethered to someone to be happy, then you only start developing feelings for someone when they're truly appropriate.

Treat them as normal friends, stop assuming each girl as the future mrs.d4rkd34th4. Lastly, work on excelling at the things that you love to do.

Don't "Friend" them - go straight to asking for a date. You're a creepy asshole if you become a girl's "friend" and then later tell you are interested in her. You should let her know right away you're interested in her - she can take it or leave it. If she rejects you right away, she would have rejected you later too.

There is your problem. Don't assume attraction AFTER you friend them, do it right when you meet. Stop trying to friend them, and date them right from the start.
