A little background, being in two relationships, one was very serious (2 years) with an very introverted girl, another one was less serious (1 month) again another introverted girls. These girls only had a few friends so I get to spend alot of my time with them when we were in an relationship.
Now fast forward to today, I'm an Asian American college student who is about to graduate college with a great job lining up, on my journey to be a fitness model, starting to meditate daily, and also spend my days doing lots of reading because I would one day like to become an entrepreneur to have my own fitness brand.
So here is the problem: since I used to focus alot on spending time with my exes I lost alot of friends I could party with. And now that I'm single for the first time in 2 years and a month, I'm realizing that I'm addicted to the feeling of "Relationship," by that I mean the feeling of being cared for and having someone to text and talk to all the time. Although I have lots of goals and daily things to do, I discover the moment I meet a cute girl that shows interest in me or even just "friendly" (Me thinking I have a chance based on our reactions) I tend to drop everything and focus solely on them (the girl) and lose my productivity in life.
I also don't have the best of luck with women, and I always blame on the fact that I go to a college with 95% white population and no one here like Asian guys. I'm hands down a great communicator, people love talking to me and what not, I made lots of great friendship since I'm a RA here but never any girl that are into me before I'm into them. Like those who you just know that they want you and they show you, I'm still dreaming about the day I get to have that experience.
So my fellow seddit members, here are my questions:
- How do I get rid of my feeling of loneliness on the weekend when I'm just by myself?
- People say you have to learn to love yourself before you can love others. How do you guys do that without involving women into your lives?
- Is it wrong for me to feel like a complete loser when none of the girls I pursue likes me back? I have been rejected (twice) ever since my last relationship ended
- Do you guys think there is a bigger problem I need to be fix here instead of asking these questions above?
I hope this wasn't too confusing to read. I really hope some of you can help me out on this feeling of loneliness and feeling that I NEED a girl in my life RIGHT NOW for me to be happy. Honestly, I'm struggling, please give me some pointers. Thank you all.
