I might just have the worst text game in history.

Like, it’s actually bad. It should be considered a talent how many hot leads I turned cold due to how I’m communicating with a woman for the first time over text. (See username)

When I text someone new, I tend to keep it “straight-faced” so to speak. “Hey X, what’s up?”

“Hey it’s X”.

I tend to wait a day or two to initiate the text.

I gotta be doing something wrong. I know there’s a percentage of women who will give their number out without any real desire of seeing you again, but it cannot be this high. Especially given strong in-person interactions. But I’m struggling to get the date through text.

Any pointers?
