When I'm with a girl im attracted to I feel pressured to carry the conversation, and make up for any slack she might create by not talking, and I feel like this is lowering my value during the interaction because im not really saying anything important, I'm just talking for no reason. Then if I try and stop talking it just gets really awkward and I feel like she would rather be somewhere else. What should I do in this situation, and is this salvagable or is she just not interested enough in me to want to contribute to the conversation?
