I've been spending the last 48 hours poring over materials on the internet on getting game / pickup. Spent a lot of time watching vids by Todd Valentine (who seems to be a master at this stuff). Initially I think I got caught up on the idea that I had to somehow ape his technique - get the lines and specific moves he did to get game right.

My insight is that if I spend too much time trying to model what experts do, I'll always fall short. What I'm really supposed to be doing is getting the attitude right. Im here to have fun. Saying hi to girls is what I do to amuse myself and pass the time. Having conversations with pretty girls is for my amusement and it's fun to do it. That's the attitude.

Right?
