So this really cute girl who I’d never seen before followed me out of the blue on instagram. I followed her back, and a couple days ago i decided to slide right into those DMs because why the fuck not.

I asked if we knew each other and she said probably not. So I hit her with “maybe we should” and told her I thought she was cute and we should go out for drinks. She agreed, and we made plans to go out Thursday night.

Fast forward to tonight - I hit her up and told her something came up and Thursday afternoon would be better, if that still works for her. In reality I could have still made Thursday night, but with my class schedule afternoon is always better for me. This girl responds with:

“We don’t have to hang out 😂”

Ouch. I told her “Well no, but I’d still be down”.

Aaaaand ghosted. No reply. I’m kicking myself because I basically just called off a date for no reason, with a super cute girl who seemed really interesting too, judging by her insta page. Fuck me.

Any chance y’all could shed some light on what I did wrong, or maybe a way to salvage the situation?
