On texting | seduction

I met this gorgeous girl this weekend at a party and we hit it off very well. She was by far the most attractive girl at this party, so I approached her and escalated quickly, showed interest in her and she showed interest in me. We ended up making out and getting very physical in an isolated area. No lay, but she kept saying how we are going to hang out over our break (both in college). I got her number, obviously, and texted her that next afternoon. We had a short conversation and I ended up not texting her back.

My issue is I leave for a week tomorrow. She knows I'm leaving and said we should hang out when I get back. So my question is should I text this girl a little bit while I'm gone to continue talking? Or should I just set up a date when I get back next week?

I really don't understand the texting aspect of game, so any information, experience, or links you could provide would be perfect. This is not a case of oneitis, just a good example about how I could potentially use texting to my advantage if I knew what to do.

I find myself having issues with texting a lot. How would you approach this situation?

I like to think of texting as serving two main purposes for your game:

1) To set up in-person dates

2) To build sexual tension and fan the flame of interest through banter and sexual innuendo

Now usually I would say to set up that date right off the bat. But I sense that you want to maintain some level of interest in your absence (and I would do the same if I were in your shoes). So here's what I would do:

Instead of the quick and easy "Let's meet at X place on Y day", use the whole scenario to set up your date over a span of a few days. Playfully offer a date idea to her and justify your idea by guessing a quality about her, or an interest she has. For example, you can offer to have a sports date where you play basketball or tennis, and banter about her competitive nature (with certain outcomes based on who wins or loses--it's very easy to throw in the sexual aspect here). If she doesn't like that, you can transition to the coffee date where you "tell each other your darkest secrets". Do you see what I'm doing?

This way you can maintain an interesting conversation and get to know her, all while setting up a date for when you get back.

There are plenty of good posts on this subreddit about texting. So if you're really having trouble, just search for them. But I think of texting as an extension of my in-person game. So just as I aim to find a unique voice and style with my conversation, I try to craft unique messages that she wouldn't be getting from any other guy.

Find your style, and don't forget points 1 and 2 up above.

Interesting advice. Especially the part about combining convo with setting up date. I could see that being very useful. Good fucking stuff man. Did you come up with that on your own? Or did it come from somewhere cause I'd really like to hear more advice like this.

I also tend to think of texting serving two key purposes. 1 going for meet up 2 creating a dynamic that allows you to hit the ground running once you do meet up. Also best done through banter and innuendo lol.

Really like your advice on killing two birds with one stone. Only hesitation is that it might be a lil too advanced for him to try out. Don't know for sure but if op feels comfortable testing this out then go for it.

My advice for anyone in a similar situation who is new to text game. would be just to hit her up maybe a bit after midweek with a cool anecdote from your trip. Maybe a picture or funny scenario. Banter a bit and don't be afraid to make it sexual. Then cut off the contact till you get settled in back home and go for the date then.

I'm emphasizing here that that you do cut off contact cause one of the things that killed me first learning text game was not knowing when to cut a conversation thread so I would end up dragging out dead conversations for weeks. Boring and needy.

Sustaining a text conversation over an extended period of time without seeing a girl is very difficult if you aren't familiar with text game. Basically, the longer you text the more likely it becomes that you will fuck up. So for now just keep those interactions short but vibrant. Keep at it though and you'll figure it out in no time.
