Oneitis. Help.

Try to stay busy and meet other people. The more people you meet and the more things in your life that you're busy with, the less time you will spend fixating on a single girl.

Best thing to cure oneits is to realize that there are plenty of other girls out there. You get stuck on one girl because you dont have any other girls to fall back on. What really fixed that shit for me was realizing that you may have 'that one girl' who is really cool, and is everything you ever dreamed of.. But you also have that other girl you talk to, and that other one, and that other one..

Even if their not the type of girl you would normally pick ('perfect, awesome personality, cute, etc...' (Yes I just put quotes inside of parentheses)). You just need to realize that you have other options. I find that oneits (at least in my case) came from the the feeling of 'OMG I might actually have a chance with this chick!!!!!!!'.

Of course this problem solves itself when you start thinking the opposite way.. Such as 'OMG this girl actually thinks she has a chance with me....!'

Yeah, you need to see more people and build more friendships. The more isolated with her you are the greater the oneitis. But, oneitis is only bad honestly if it keeps you from being happy. If you're totally into a girl and shes into you its fine in my opinion. If you however build unrealistic expectations with oneitis like of having babies and a house with a girl all you did was make out with some night... it may be bad.
