You want to eventually become good enough where having someone with you could only serve as a detriment.

What's the best way to find a pickup partner/wingman outside of your friend group? Want to work on improving my game alongside someone else but none of my friends are interested in this typa thing

a very common issue:

expand your social circle to find dudes who like to 'go out' - (a) even if they are not approaching, use them as a base, (b) even some normal dude like the idea of going out to meet women. ensure they are fun dudes who don't hate on you when you get rejected (also common)
go out alone if you have to, you can sometimes meet other wings when out if you have OK skills, hang with them again.

meeting good wings was tricky even when PUA was popular, many dudes were just socially poor, some are nice dudes but bad at game ( still hang with them), some you didn't have chemistry with and not fun to be around.

edit -

(1) also, "like attracts like" if you are a fun and social person , similar people will find you. likewise if a dude (with game) sees you also have game they will be more likely to want to hang.

(2) don't " talk about Game" to people, just let them see you being successful.
