I've been a follower of your community for months now, I've read parts of Magic Bullets and I am stuck in a way. I'm a average , maybe even good looking, chubby guy , I'm funny and I know how to handle social situations, I am not completely worthless when it comes to interacting with people. Lately however, something happened that has happened to me before as well and now I would like to know how you handle it and how you get up when your struck down.

I've met a girl online, she is a friend of a friend and she really really REALLY did me in. She is really cute, she shares lots of my interests and I think we'd be great together. This is where my alarm bells are already going off: I know I'm hung up on her and it's hurting my inner game and my confidence. I cannot look at other girls without thinking about her, she is in my mind 24/7 which is super weird because I haven't even talked to her in RL. Besides, I already messed everything up by telling her I'm not trying to be her friend but I'm looking for a relationship. Now my thoughts are revolving around how bad I screwed up, how I fucked it up with the woman I might wanna marry and all that stuff.

Please seddit, tell me:

how can I get rid of these thoughts and how can I get over her or how can I get her? It's perfectly clear to me that I might have screwed up so badly that I need to move on so lay the truth on me.

Another thing I wanted to ask is when you're trying to seduce a woman / get her number / get laid , how do you go about doing that? Do you go out by yourself? Do you go to venues where you're not comfortable? I just can't get my motivation up to go out and do stuff like that. When I am somewhere without any friends and without people to talk to, I however do try to approach women and act "alphamale" and usually it works but what do you do to get psyched and get in the mood for playing the field?
