I approached these two blondes in a bar - one of them looked kind of Hollywood, so I tried to "cold read" and say she looked like she was in reality tv -

It kind of back fired and I guess she kinda took offense to it and said something like "did you just insult me? Is that an insult?" I could feel that it was a kind of test, to see how I would react - And I knew its bad to be all apologetic and beta and say something like "oh no of course not ma'am I'm so sorry if I offended you." But I didn't feel too confident either, so I kinda just un confidently mumbled "no, that's just how you're interpreting it" and then dug deeper and said "yeah all reality tv is trash anyways" and changed the subject.

I'm just wondering what a good alpha response would be to something like this...
