There is a difference between performativity and genuinely having fun. There is no point in going out to clubs and bars if they are not your environment and you are not attracted to the majority of women who go out to such establishments. This whole notion that all attractive women go out to bars and clubs is a flawed one and doesn't account for the roles personal interests, psychology, profession, class, race and ethnicity play in what we define as 'attractive women'. You are the one who determines which places best suit you for meeting women, not anyone else.

It is not that bars and clubs don’t make me feel comfortable but that I simply have no interest in going out to them nowadays. It is not that I do not go out them at all - I went out to plenty when I was visiting another city I hadn’t visited in years, but I am at a point now after spending 4 years familiarising myself with my city’s nightlife, but I am at a point now that I can frankly affirm to myself that simply constantly going out at night isn’t going to fix the fundamental issue at play - that I am simply not interested in a lot of women who go out to bars and clubs in my city.
