Hello everyone. Here is the situation - I’m in the same group with a girl at uni. It’s the second year, so we’ve known each other for one year as colleagues. After the holidays something struck me and I realized that I might like her more than as a colleague. We’ve gone to 3 or 4 same parties recently and I was hitting up on her quite a lot at these parties (a little alcohol loosens you up, I guess). Anyway, there was no follow up coming from me at uni and today this girl game up to me and said that she’s got to ask me something. She asked me about my behaviour and why I hit her up at parties but we talk like colleagues at uni (she was confused) and I said that it’s not only the alcohol talking, I like her when sober too. The rest of the conversation was pretty cringey (the first question coming from her made it all cringey tbh, respect for being straight to the point tho) and it eventually led to me saying that we could meet outside of uni and outside of some random parties, just the two of us. She said that we’re quite different and she’s not sure whether it would work out. I’m pretty confused - shall I legitimately ask her out through a message or the next time we meet or forget about the thing?
