The typical advice in this thread is going to be "pretend like you don't even care, bro."

Fuck that. I do care. That is rude as fuck. First of all, I would next this girl because that is an extremely rude way to act towards somebody you made plans with. Imagine if you were a businessman and you scheduled a meeting to discuss a merger than the other guy was like "idk I need a nap" when you called to confirm.

First of all, this girl seems uninterested in you completely so I wouldn't even pursue. Do you think if Brad Pitt called her to confirm a date she'd be like "idk I need a nap"?? Hell no.

Secondly, it didn't even sound like you really scheduled a date with her. Next time, be much more forthright when you ask a girl out.

So what would I do? I would text her back "Ok well I guess the date is off then. Nice to meet you, see you around." She will either not respond or (much more likely) she will text back begging apologetically and ask for a second chance. I would deny her a second chance too, saying "sorry that was really rude. I don't have time for bullshit like that." And THEN, on a third try I might give her another chance but you have to take control of the situation.

Spin to be positive. "Ok, great, I actually have some work I need to finish up."

Then don't respond. If she flakes then you can text her the next day and make it sound like you forgot. "Oh shit! Sorry, I just realized we were supposed to hang out. I got so involved in this project. I hope you weren't waiting up for me."

I'd ignore her, invite her out whenever you happen to be going out, and set up one or 2 other dates simultaneously. Give her some attention, but make sure you don't ignore the other two girls. You've made it too easy for her. Make her work for it.

You probably fucked up the initial interaction, NOBODY sets Day 2s for a few days in the future because it's WEAK, and then you texted instead of calling. This is so weak, absolutely weak. Step up or continue to fail. Your choice.

If I was in your situation I would throw those numbers away rather than text them because that's what you're doing. I would throw them away. Texting is worthless. Some people can do it all they want and a few will have success. But you never get stories of, "Man I wish I had texted that girl instead of called her! Calling fucked things up!" That never happens (unless you had terrible, terrible skills).
