I’ve gotten to the point where I’m not having much trouble in the field. I can open a girl and close pretty quickly, but I’m starting to notice that whenever I try to hang out with a girl again, I either get ignored or turned down several times before I just give up and move on.

At first I thought it was because I was waiting too long to contact them (i.e. meeting them one weekend, not contacting them til the next), but I’ve tried repeating contact in the next few days and haven’t fared much better.

I don’t think it’s a problem of building attraction, since a bunch of the girls have opened me and initiated kino, and I don’t think it’s because I’m boring because we generally have a good in-person/text banter the night-of/morning after. It’s also definitely not an issue of me being too pushy/clingy. I’m not trying to push anything, it’s usually more like “Hey, having a party. You should drop by.” or “let’s get lunch sometime.”

The only thing I can think of is that a lot of these hook ups have been when we’ve both been drinking, and maybe they regret it?

Just started to notice this pattern fairly recently, and realized it’s been happening to me for a while now - easily almost a year – though I didn’t notice until recently because pickups have become much more frequent. Therefore I’ve decided that it must be a flaw in my game.

Basically, there must be something I’m doing wrong that prevents girls from wanting to see me again, even if they seem like they had a good time with me the first time around. It’s a weird place to be in; like a reverse friend-zone.

So I was wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues and had any advice.
