AFC² if you are trying to make-out on the dance floor I would proceed to kino-escalate. Continue to build sexual tension. Get to a stage where they are comfortable with you placing your hand at the back of their head. If all signs are good, then pull their face closer to your own. This way if you feel any resistance you can just back off with a minimum of awkwardness.
