Yes I know, don’t shit where you eat, I’m not planning on eating here for too long, so green light is lit.

I’ve noticed that I’ve been building up some rapport with one girl at work but I don’t still need to ‘test the waters’ a bit more, I could invite her out so do something (might be a slight problem due to logistics - no car and due to us living in a, well, not necessarily fun and exciting city, but something could be arranged), but I think I’ll carry on doing my thing at the working environment.

She seems somewhat receptive, she’s a little shy/awkward, or at least acts that way, but we’ve broke the ice a little and we’re talking more openly to some degree (I.e. Sexual innuendos, some deeper topics, etc), and whilst it’s all cool and chill, I get the impression that I’m the one that has to do the initiating most of the time, could just be because of her personality, but that’s not to say that she doesn’t put in the effort.

We’ve got each other on social media but I make it somewhat clear that I prefer to talk in person because it’s more meaningful and interesting then, so I’ve only sent a few memes, exchanged/gave each other recommendations regarding our hobby on who we like to watch for the said hobby and not much else.

With that said, I have probably been a little too ‘invested’, so I’d want to consider pulling back - I should still do the basics, like small talk etc, but not anything else at work unless she initiated it, or should I go ‘cold’, so to say?

Any advice?
