If she says she has to go, it's an out for her to leave. She's just being friendly about it. I've really pushed these issues, like offering to take them to eat, and she'll finally drop the facade and just say no. The thing to learn is that it's better to leave her smiling and saying goodbye, than rolling her eyes and off-put by it. Other girls might see that and think better of you for it.

Hang with her and their friends. Laugh and have fun with them. This way she trusts you and you don’t come off as a guy from her DMs. Then exchange contact info and ask if she wants to get drinks/smoke sometime. Don’t worry about the “friend zone”. That’s only when a guy sticks around after being rejected.
