I'm pretty new to this to be honest but I have read a couple of books such as "Models" by Mark Manson and "How To Be A 3% Man" by Corey Wayne. One of the key takeaways of these books is to be non-needy and to signal you come from a place of abundance.

Whereas these are definitely good concepts and I'm sure they work, I'm having difficulties putting them into practice. I find myself guilty of the things described in those books as absolute no-go's (such as putting the girls you are attracted to on a pedestal after developing feelings). How do you guys avoid this mindset? How do you keep yourself from thinking about the girl you like all the time?
