So I'm doing alright these days...I've hooked up with multiple girls over the last few weeks. But this situation baffles me. I work in a restaurant, and a new girl started working, and since our first shift together she's been really flirty with me. So after a shift where we were talking and flirting every time we interacted, I manned up and asked for her number and said we will hang out sometime. She was cool and said that it was cool to have a real interaction. I come into work the next day, to pick up a paycheck, she's working, I stand next to her and say I'm sorry am I distracting you? "Ya you actually are distracting me right now." Hey so I meant to call you last night but when I got home I passed out. (Which is true) "Really that is pretty lame" Ya I was tired. What are you doing when you get off? "Same thing I do every time I get off" Text me when you leave and we'll hang "I don't really text boys" How about I text you to see if you're off. "Sure" I was in a rush myself, I had a date I was meeting up with at a nearby coffee shop (which turned out really well)

So I text her later that night and say "Last night we got real for a minute. It was refreshing."

She says "Really what was so real about it?"

I reply "I felt vulnerable. And you were cool with it."

She responds "I don't know what to think of that line."

"Lets get together sometime this week"

"Hate to say this, but I really won't have time between work, school, and knitting, which adds to my mystique. ;) "

I have yet to respond. I think she feels that I blew her off by not getting in touch with her the same night I asked for her #. I didn't plan on hanging with her that same night, nor did I say that I was going to get in touch with her that night. We only work once a week together, so I took the opportunity to ask her for her # while I could.

I just want no drama in the workplace. I want her to be cool with me as a worker, not passive aggressive or any shit like that, not sure how to handle this situation. Brothers, your thoughts?
