Is demographics more about perusing your life and dating girls that intersect, or is it about determining how to meet and interact with the girls that you're attracted to?

For instance, I tend to be attracted to "classy" girls but I'm not sure how I'd meet them, because my two big interests are music and science, in which there isn't much of the population of girls that I'm attracted to.
