So, I've been doing fine as of late with women, but now I'm curious with depth as a person. I've read a lot of books about being self-sufficient and understanding yourself. I recently started reading more Buddhism books, Alan Watts specifically, and the idea of detachment is extremely interesting. He states that by acting stoic, cool, or any other reactions that you force outside of what you feel is a form of attachment to that specific feeling. So I have a couple questions for the pros; Do you wear your emotions on your sleeves? Is that what you mean by not being externally validated? Do you let yourself be sad and not fight it? Is this the true form of allowing yourself to be vulnerable? any explanations would help.
