what i find works is to come up with scenarios which spawn conversation or in other words, role play. for instance, tell her youre starting a rock band and say you need a drummer and ask her if she can master the drums by friday cause thats when you scheduled a gig. talk about what youre shows gonna be like and get extravagant, itll be funny and you can learn a lot about each other by suggestions to make the show that much better. hope this helps

Don't keep a girl texting. Text for logistics to meet up in person, otherwise don't text a bunch.

Then long periods would only come after directly asking her out, and can be taken as a more direct rejection then simply not liking the cat gif you sent or whatever.
