This is a very niche question, but I feel I’ve been playing it wrong.

A few times when I go to a bar or club, I’ll be vibing with a girl. Good eye contact, good conversation, she asks me reciprocal question, I flex a modicum of charisma/charm and make her laugh.

Then for one reason or another, she is with her friends, I’m leaving, she’s leaving, it’s getting close to close..ect... I can’t escalate and ask her to dance or grab a drink. So I get her number.

Whenever I get a number I always text my name back to them. This way they are sure to remember me and have the ability to contact me first.

Now, a few times a girl has texted me the same night, just after close saying “it was nice to meet you :)” or something to that effect.

What’s the proper response? I’ve texted back just nice to see you too...then was gonna see what she says and go from their...but never got a response.

Then another time I waited to the next day and said nice to meet you too and tried to set up a date...no response.

Am I missing something here. These girls have to be texting me for a reason. Any experience guys have this happen before?
