I would think of myself as a friendly person, I don't really have too much trouble striking up fun conversations and getting to know people, because I really love the energy of being around other people.

What i've experienced a bit recently when meeting women has been that I can visibly see that they are experiencing a bit of unease or nervousness, especially if i'm approaching them for the first time. I know that it's normal for them to feel a bit nervous, if a guy they don't know is talking to them, but sometimes it really interferes with the interaction, and I end up cutting things short just because I don't want them to feel uncomfortable like that.

I realize i'm a good looking guy and I take care of my health and my body, and when it's social circle game, I find that women are pretty responsive towards me and a lot less nervous.

When i'm cold approaching though, I don't really have any expectations of these interactions with them; I just really enjoy meeting interesting people. Is there any way that I can make them feel a bit more at ease or not be as intimidating?

For example today I struck up a conversation with this cutie that was sitting near me at the University Library, and I casually smiled and asked her what she was studying for and she smiled back but her voice was shaky and I could tell she felt really nervous, so after talking to her for a few minutes, I just told her i'd let her get back to her work
