Tinder only makes sense if you are fotogenic or have some unconventional photos of yourself (e.g. trying to steal a salmon out of a grizzly's mouth). Otherwise you will only get the nut/cases and ugly ones. Another prerequesite - you have to live in a larger urban area. Tinder makes no sense in a tiny village ...

However I would still go for it in your case - just use it as a complementary channel for meeting girls. Once a month you actually end up meeting a cool person even if your pictures are just average.

I'm going to say if you prefer to meet girls in person, stick with it. In my opinion, online dating apps will make you lazy about approaching and the reward isn't very high.

People here have a lot of vitriol towards Tinder, but my opinion on it is what do you have to lose? Try it out. But don't stop meeting women in person. If it doesn't work how you want it to, then just delete the app. Simple.
