I would hope she would have some idea, she is either nicely blowing you off, or was too intoxicated to remember you, what I try to say to something like this is something simple "this is udog, we met the other night" or "that cute guy from the concert" simple, to the point, if she ignores it it answers it for sure, no reason to chase that one

One of the problems with the quick numbers, hard to build that connection tion, so she isn't questioning herself the next day

When you flirt with a girl, she's in one emotional state. When you're texting her at a later time, you have to assume she's not in that state. Get her in that state of mind. Say something fun.

You didn't invest anything in the conversation. There was no comfort built. You can't go low-investment in that situation.

How should I respond

You don't. You get the hint that she is not interested. You should realize that number closing is like shaking hands with a stranger, it takes about 15 minutes to have forgot you even met, and her text was pretty on point, she doesn't remember you, she doesn't give a shit, and only with much investment you might have a chance in making her want to meet.

Next time you don't go for a number, but you go for a seduction. This means you don't approach and aim to get her number like there was no tomorrow, but you actually connect with her, make her want to see you again, make her crave your text or call! The next time you get a number you want to read a "is it you, udog? It was so much fun to meet you! I hope we can meet sometime for a coffee." instead of "who is this?".
