This is just something I'm realizing about my recent efforts that maybe be useful advice.

Before, I defined success as getting laid. I quickly got two easy girls at clubs and realized that shitty unemotional sex won't make me happy.

Now, I define success as seizing opportunities. Did I get that girl's number at work? Did I make a solid effort to connect with her? I feel a rush of accomplishment just from trying. From this angle, rejection is but a small disappointment. The pleasure comes from being myself and being open about my feelings with women (and the rest of the world).

I thought this might be a useful angle for those who have insecurities about rejection like I once did.
