There's a book called "The Subtle Art of Not Giving A Fuck."
I recommend it be read by both genders.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Good book

Being told you're handsome by your female friends doesn't mean much tbh.
[–]satvik__bajpai30 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
yeah but told the same Online too
[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
And are you fucking them?
[–]argumentativepigeon -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
it does
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
How?
Girls say their friends are hot all the time, but they're lying.
[–]argumentativepigeon -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
It shows they have thought about you in a sexual way
[–]Infinite_Canary8796 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Not necessarily... many and I dare say most Women don't automatically equate looks with sexual thoughts
[–]argumentativepigeon 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Looks are entirely sexual
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If they call you handsome and you're not fucking them it's meaningless.
Not at all.
If they thought you were handsome they wouldn't be just your friend, you'd be fucking them.
The reason that they they're friend is entirely because they don't find you attractive.

I would ask your female best friend to elaborate on her statement. Is it your voice, your accent, your views on things? Or just general social incompetence?
[–]satvik__bajpai30 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
I have no idea- I asked her once but she told something in the lines of "you don't seem to come off as cool as it seem before you opened your mouth"
[–]norwegiandoggo 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
That's a bit vague. Cool typically means in control, confident, unaffected. Do maybe you seem like you're uncontrolled, insecure and easily affected by things
[–]satvik__bajpai30 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
Yup definitely defines me. The thing is how hard I try I don't seem to ever be not affected (and this is everything in life as I am an overthinker)
[–]norwegiandoggo 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
Try less hard, give Zero fucks about what others think about you
[–]satvik__bajpai30 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
okay so I asked her and apparently, it is about talking about things that are random and being a people pleaser. Also I have ADHD
[–]lookinformyglasses 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Broo put her aside alright... i had two friends in my life who always told exactly this vague shit about me, bro just bcoz she says one thing.... doesnt mean its true. Other people think the way i am, makes me cute and charmng in my own way. I am from india not been very successful irl coz of my approach anxiety, but doing fine online. Ill ask you one thing, im sure whenever you try to ask her anything specific about the problem she thinks you have, she probably starts going around in circles, saying stuff that doesn't makes sense. Am i wrong?
[–]satvik__bajpai30 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
she is my best friend, and she means the world to me. Shockingly we became close after lot of persuasion from my side until she couldn't avoid me
[–]vnclw 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Lol. So was her decision that you would be in the friendzone and you went further and made her your BFF Your first mistake is having her as BFF and then Taking advice from her.
[–]satvik__bajpai30 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I mean I always wanted her as a friend and nothing more. The persuasion was to make me the best friend kind of person
[–]norwegiandoggo 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That's pretty good feedback, I would work with that

Modern men have an advantage that men from no other era had -- the reputational freedom of the obscurity of crowds.
In the past, if you messed up socially, people would remember it forever and it would impact your whole life. That's why humans are so naturally terrified of making social mistakes.
But today, you can make a fool of yourself in front of a stranger, then never see them again and face no consequences.
You must use this to your advantage. Overcome your fears and awkwardness through massive exposure -- put yourself in those situations over and over and over, and eventually you will get enough practice it will become second nature. Then, when it really matters, you'll have the skills to make it go smoothly.
[–]Shacken-Wan 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I'm thinking this is actually the opposite. Back in the days, you appeared as a fool only by people that could witness it. Nowadays, everyone has social media and can draw his phone to film you if you make a social mistake. It can spill, although this is rare, in your social networks and you can end being ostracized (or cancel) quickly.
[–]lookinformyglasses 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Wtf dude, unless you plan on molesting someone in broad daylight, i dont think anyone would wanna film you while you're talking to girls and being goofy.
[–]Shacken-Wan 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'm not talking about the seducing process here, but in general. You see a lot of videos on YouTube, insta or else of guys/gals making fool of themselves on anything, and it can sometimes leak on their social networks. Of course, in the seduction process, unless you are a creep, it should be fine.
[–]sinhaanip 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Work on your verbal game… Tonality, Choice of words, Body language.
[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Indian guys have probably got the worst speaking tonality.
You need to be more Morgan Freeman and Barry White than Apu from the Simpsons.
Apart from that, when you speak to women, you talk about positive emotions, feelings, what it's like when you feel connected to someone, the body sensations you get from that, which then leads into sex talk as a general rule.
In no seduction do you ever waffle on about facts and figures and data. That just makes you boring. Women are addicted to emotions, fantasies, dreams, and their imaginations. Not facts. Not reality. Not breakdowns of how things work like this one I am writing to you. Stick to topics with emotional content.

Wheres the new post wtf
[–]Infinite_Canary8796 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I've had A guy friend similar to this before. not bad looking but def didn't know how to speak well to the opposite sex. From reading this and your other comments it sounds like some insecurity and awkwardness etc is coming across when you speak. If I were you I'd work on self love, confidence and def not being a ppl pleaser anymore. When you love yourself more you develop healthy boundaries and your kindness to others comes out more genuine and attractive

Rejection is one of those words we wish to never here. Often, it can be a doorway to a more positive time...
As per stoics - “I don’t care what others are thinking and others are doing” make it your mantra 🥂

Without knowing much about what you say when you start talking;
Women recognise the frequency, energy and humour behind a man's communication. The topics of conversation, and whether or not you are an extrovert are irrelevant (a lot of guys see being an introvert as an issue).
Only you know if you're saying things for a reaction, or if you are expressing yourself authentically and trying to actually get to know the girl as a human being rather than trying to use her as a source of validation via approval/sex.
