It’s just something that hit me recently. I always thought that if a girl rejected me that there was something wrong with me. That I failed at sparking an interest in this particular girl, but really that’s just part of the game. It’s nothing personal. It could be that she doesn’t like my hair or the way I dress. Or even my ethnicity. It could be that she just got out of a bad relationship and needs time to help herself. Right girl, wrong time.

The women I approach are doing me a favor by not wasting my time.

The opposite is true. If I get her number and go out on a date, this could be a failure. Sure, I moved onto the next step but she could just be wasting my time by me giving her attention through texts or going on those same dates. She’s keeping me away from the next girl who is an actual match.

I was always just so hung up on rejection perceived as losing/failing. The only way to truly succeed is to never stop and look for the next girl. Just keep going.
