Basically, long story short:

I went on 3 dates with this girl (Let's call her GIRL). Now I should've tried k closing earlier according to Seddit but a mix of own pussiness and lack of super romantic vibes made me hold off. However, I finally tried to go for it at the end of third date. Went in for the kiss, she turned her head and I got cheek.

No problem, I play it cool respond with a "No?" and a knowing smirk. She goes "Good luck" and laughs. We said our goodbyes and etc etc.

Now at this point, I was fairly sure this is done for. She still responded to my good night text amicably so I thought I was zoned. At this point, I had moved on and gave her the freeze out.

Fast forward today, (So now its 2 days into freeze out). I know one of our mutual friends was talking to her (He told me). He mentioned me in the passing. Later, I get a text from her going:

"Watching so-so trailer for some movie. Reminded me of you, some question about something we talked about."

Huh? My thinking is that after trying to kiss, I've dead sure she knows my intentions. Is there a thing where even if the girl knows your intentions they still try to friendzone you? Or am I completely missing the obvious here.
