This better applies to my fellas in school, where we are seeing the same women all the time, but it indeed works other places as well. I've been a lurker long enough, I've posted a few typical questions, and I may as well post what I was thinking about this morning. As the title states, I was thinking a bit on reputation. I'm not talking your "street cred" at school, not talking about how many touchdowns you've scored before, not talking about how smart you are, etc. I am specifically talking about how you treat people, especially the ladies. I'll admit I am a senior in high school- I still have much to learn but i know a few things about life from my short time living it. Here is one of the things that has helped me be much more attractive to women: reputation. I am known to be a very nice guy, and recently it has helped me greatly expand my number of female connections. What has helped me is a very simple yet at times difficult concept, be nice to EVERYONE. I'm not saying anything outrageous. Nobody has to go buy lunch for every single person at their school. I don't mean you have to go give big hugs to all your ex's and their boyfriends or all of the people that made fun of you that one time you spilled the beaker in science class.

What I'm saying is this, be at least friendly to everyone you come across. The new guy/girl (especially), the one awkward freshman that says hi to you in the halls every day, the really not attractive girl in your Spanish class.

Allow me to explain to remedy the possible confusion. To those of you that don't think about this, it'll seem very obvious once I say it. I felt like a fool when I thought about this the first time this morning. The reason I am so nice to all women I come across is to build a positive image. THE MORE GIRLS I RESPECT, THE MORE GIRLS THAT RESPECT ME. Even if the girl is someone you would never even consider something with, they might have a friend with whom you would. That got me recently when the new transfer girl picked me over my pal (who was initially gaming for her much harder than I) because she heard about how he treats girls vs. how I do.

One last note, when I talk about being the nice guy, I don't mean going beta. I still maintain my alpha game and flirting with the attractive women, but I give respect even to girls I would have no interest in or don't ever talk to. You don't have to flirt it up with the really awkward girl, but don't be the guy that makes fun or simply scoffs and turns his back. It'll come around to you eventually.

To finalize: TL;DR, Treat all girls, even unattractive or unfriendly ones, the same way as you would treat an HB10 upon first meeting her. Even if you never plan on seeing this particular unattractive girl, she may have a hot friend that overhears how cool you are. It's worked.

P.S.- as I am still in school, I am still learning. I am very open to comments, criticism, and advice. I will also graciously accept any corrections of possible grammar/spelling issues, particularly on punctuation as this was typed out on an iPod.
