[Rant - Jump to TL;DR for Summary]
Ok, I know RSD has mixed reviews. I was always indifferent, and at the end of the day just look at it as a business more than an actual care for helping guys. In my mind it wasnt that they were JUST interested in money, but their interest in money was a bigger importance. I have the same outlook on any of these other instructors and courses that charge serious $. Im fine with it, no hate. Many personal trainers are the same, if they can get you results so be it.
With that said, I was always open to see if i could gather insight to learn anything regardless. Albeit, mainly free, but I have had my moments of being interested in a paid program. Recently, a few months ago, I had one of those moments with one of RSD Max's programs. Signed up to talk to someone knowing I was probably gonna get an elevator pitch and hope to god it wasnt ridiculously expensive. I knew better, and as the only time available was at midnight, I missed the call and by the time I "sobered up" from my desperation, I was willing to save my money n just work on my shit myself.
That was maybe in January. It's now Mid-April and for the past few days Ive been getting a daily call from a Vegas number calling at the randomest times (Midnight, 2am, 5am, etc) with usually 3 back to back calls. Super annoying, but i brushed it off as a telemarketer. At some point though I said "Who the fuck is this? Telemarketers dont call back to back like this or in the middle of the night." Of course there was never a voicemail.
So, this morning shortly before I'm suppose to wake up, wouldnt you know I get these back to back calls again at 5am. Im running on 4 hrs of sleep and my days are extremely packed and with going to the gym, every minute of sleep is crucial. Im irritated so I said "Fuck it. I want to know who this is so this can stop."
"Hello?" "Hey this is Max from Rsd"
... you have to be fucking kidding me ...
Max goes on to tell me how I missed that initial call, which was months ago. He asked what happened, did things change? Did I get some improvement already?. I'm a nice guy so I resist getting snappy. I told him yes things changed, I just worked on doing some stuff myself. He begins to ask me what results I got. Immediately I aim to end this conversation as its 5am and I just got woken up for this bullshit. I told him nicely I can't talk. He begins to try n hype himself as though I might miss an opportunity. This is getting me pissed. I explain again I cant talk right now.
"Why? Are you sleeping." "Yes. I am. Its 5 o'clock" "When can you talk?" "Like in 12 hrs." "Dude. Do you know who this? This is RSD Max. Come on. When is a realistic time you can talk?" "In 12 hours... its 5 in the morning." "Ok. Well talk soon."
9am while Im at work what do you know, Mr. RSD Max is calling me again. Thankfully I blocked his number as soon as we ended our lovely rise and shine call.
TL;DR: Signed up for a call interview for an RSD Max program months ago. Been constantly getting calls in the middle of the night months later from an unknow number who ends up being Max. Guy had no care that he was calling me at 5am to try n give me a sales pitch and wanted to act like I should give two flying fucks about who he is to spare my sleep for his elevator pitch. Anyone interested in RSD, get what you can for free otherwise you might as well be asking to be bent over and fucked. Actions speak louder than words and when a business is acting like a telemarketer but even worse (who the fuck trys making a sale when waking someone up at 5am?) You should understand they dont care about you or your results, they care about your money with these type of tactics and probably prey on desperation. Im usually indifferent to these paid programs and type of instructors/coaches, its supply and demand; but I hope some of these other paid guys arent as fucking shiesty (and with these tactics just to get a sale I can only imagine how much worse it can get.)
