Saturday was a pretty good day for me, spent the day exploring the city I live in. And had matched with a cute girl on hinge. The messages between us were pretty good and set up a date to go grab a drink later that night.

Showed up to the date, and honestly she wasn’t as attractive in person as she was in her photos, so a bit of a let down. Made some small talk but honestly it wasn’t that interesting of a date, just small talk and no sparks, by the end she was checking her phone. To me that’s both rude, and abundantly clear, so we split ways.

Me not wanting to end my night like that I walked into a pub around the corner that I liked. Grabbed a beer and was just listening to the music. Started talking to this guy, trying to goad him into talking to this group of hot girls in front of us. He wasn’t totally about it and deflected back to me.

Not one to back down, I get up and approach the girl I mentioned, however she walked to the bar as I was doing it so I kinda snuck up on her unintentionally. When I said something to her the look of horror on her face was both humbling and hilarious. So immediately pivoted and bailed. Went back over to the group and just laughed at the situation and went back to having a good time.

Later I Sat down at a table and saw two girls playing ride the bus together. Started chatting with them and ended up teaching them a new game and played it with them. By the end of the game the one girl was leaning up on me and we were vibing. We started dancing and having a great time together.

Ended up getting her number and we’ve been texting since.

Just goes to show that rejections don’t matter, there are so many single women out there and if some don’t want to date you, no worries there might be another just a few feet away.
