Hello Seddit, I'm just going to be straight forward and write a situation that happened to me that probably some AFC's can relate to.

I am an obvious AFC, all through school/high school, sociable yet shy, I get along with women fairly well, and also had the opportunities of having a girlfriend but chose not to. I would consider myself a "nice person" not a "nice guy" and surely not a "bad ass". Anyway at my senior year at high school, I saw the most beautiful girl i've seen in ages. I mean she was EXOTIC, like wow! Luckily she was in my english class, so i got to know her, 2 weeks in, I got the balls to ask her at prom, AND I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE IN ASKING OUT WOMEN!EVER! she accepted, but turned it down later (she's mixed arabic and her parents are STRIIICTTT). When that failed, I asked her out to lunch, shyly she said she couldn't because of her parents. At that point I figured it was her excuse to say no. I didn't talk to her for months, we'd only end up looking at each other in class and hallways. Example, in the hallways she would talk to other guys and constantly look over to see what I'm doing. (The ol' eye game).

One day she told my wing girl, how if i still talked about her, and told my wing girl she liked someone else and would date this guy if he asks her out. I didn't take it well at all when my wing girl told me! I got this huge sunken gutsy feeling, and it hurt. I don't know if it was a SHIT test or what, but we've lost all contact since then, and about 4 weeks ago, I wrote her in an in-box message about how I used to feel about her, to get it all out of my chest. I told her to delete it and not reply to it (Sounds pretty clingy). Ever since then, nothing has happened.

Maybe the fact that I ignored her for 4 months without communication made this occur. But she slipped away, and in the future, I don't want to make the same mistake again with another girl if I meet one again, Reddit, so what did i do wrong? How can Improve my game if i ever get to meet women I'm interested in.

Edit: Fixed initial grammar mistakes.
