So I live in a different country where the high majority of the population does not speak english. I'm not too bad with the language but can keep a conversation going, but since I've been here I've had this feeling that the whole game is different. I like to believe that it's not, but I haven't really had it work for me yet. So I'd like to know what you think. Do you believe that culture differences can make a difference in things like opening, flirting, approaching, etc?

The reason I'm not telling you where I am is because I don't want this to be directed towards a certain culture or people. I'd like to know if it's the same thing, anywhere.
