First off she is mid 40"s and hot. Her husband died unexpectedly over 5 years ago but she still seems loyal to him as if she hasnt gotten over him and maybe she will never date again in her mind.

The two of us had some brief history 20 years ago with some dates and fooling around but i didnt persue a relationship at the time. We have stayed friendly over the years but little interaction.

I should mention we have worked at the same place for this whole time. I See her in passing a few times a week.

Since my separation last year, i released she would in theory be a good person to rekindle with. However, there are some road blocks.

I relise i cant just walk up to her and ask her out. Wont work.

So i have decided to persue a friendship. I have started talking with her more around the building, asking her to work events etc.

Long term plan is to get her phone number and start messaging periodically. Perhaps leads to hanging out. Perhaps leads to ???

This seems like a long range plan that could take months if not longer.

I wont stop trying to meet other women and date them in the meantime.
