Year was 2012, by then I had been into pickup for 3 years. Dating many chicks and having a blast, was not looking for a girlfriend at all.

Then one day I saw this incredibly sexy girl at a bar.

Everything about her was exactly what I always wanted in a woman (physically). Also the way she was dancing with her friends, her vibe, I instantly felt like she was the one.

That day I was with another girl at the bar, though. So I waited for my date to go to the toilet, then approached the perfect sexy chick, quickly got her number, and went back to my date.

Texted her on the following morning, did 5 days of text game, asked her out to the same bar and she said yes.

Had a great time with her, incredibly funny and down to earth girl. We went to my place after the bar and I had the best sex of my life.

That was 7 years ago. We've been living together for 3 years now, travelling the world and chasing our dreams together. Love her to death, she's my partner for life.

Kinda of a sweet story, but only happened because I knew exactly how to approach, quickly get a number, had tight text game and knew how to escalate on our first date.

If I didn't know game, I would NEVER had approached a girl like her (and would probably screw up if I did).

So guys... learn game. Practice a lot, get good. Yes you'll date plenty of chicks, but also you'll be ready when you finally meet the one.

Yes of course. A few golden rules, ask for more details if you need.

The rule of 2/3. Your messages should be max. 2 thirds (70%) the length of her messages, and you should wait 3/2 (150%) the time before replying to her.
You want her to message last before you stop texting for the day. (Meaning her last message will sit there unanswered until tomorrow, not yours).
Trigger curiosity. Include things in your messages that will cause her to ask questions.
Whenever you need to ask questions, also include statements that bring context or value. (Eg. Instead of 'are you free tomorrow?', use 'I'm going to this new epic foodtruck tomorrow at 7pm. Wanna come?'). But dont ask too many questions.
When asking her out, just tell the plan like you're going anyway and then say she's invited. (Same example as above). If she says 'No', it doesn't look like rejection - but like she's missing out and you'll have fun without her.
The jumbotron test. Never message anything that would make you cringe if it was aired on a jumbotro for 10,000 people to see it.
No girly emojis. There are exceptions, but if you want to play it safe then no emojis at all. If your chat history looks similar to what she texts her female friends, something is wrong.
Drop hints of high value and an interesting life, but don't brag. Make her ask/assume. Eg. 'gotta go, big game today. talk later' (she wonders: what game? Does he play sports? Did he win?) So much better than saying 'I'm a football player'.
If she ghosts you for a few days, reengage with a very intriguing message that is impossible to ignore. Eg: 'just met your evil twin.' (What do you mean? Why is she evil? I don't have a twin. Etc)
DONT OVER TEXT. This is very important. You DONT want to be text buddies with her, you want to create some connection, make plans, and that's it. When I said we texted for 5 days, it was just a couple of texts a day. If you have lots to say, call her.
Voice messages are better than text. She'll usually reply by voice too, which is way more personal.
You don't need to reply to every single message she sends. In fact it's better that you don't. You're a busy guy living an interesting life, sometimes you forget to reply. No big deal.

There are many other tactics, just ask if you need help with specific scenarios.
