Background: A (female) friend of mine had introduced me to her girlfriend and after a group date. K-Close. Things went really well. She added me onto Facebook and gave me her number and we arranged a date.

Date night: She calls me, sounding pretty hoarse. Said she had to cancel as she is ill. Told me she would text me next week when she is free. 5 minute phone conversation. I told her she gets bonus points for calling, and not cancelling with a lame text. She apologized profusely. Since then she has creeped my Facebook and initiated some light chat with me, which I ended rather quickly (no online shit).

Thoughts: I'm nearly 100% certain our mutual friend has told the girl I am a bit of a womanizer. Girls do love to play matchmaker though, so I'm wondering if this fact could help me. My plan: She sounded legitimately sick over the phone. I plan on giving her until Thursday to text me. If not I'll call her to set up a date.

Normally this wouldn't be my plan of attack, but since this girl was introduced by a mutual friend, I'd like to treat it a bit more delicately. I feel as though I make this girl kind of nervous (she's a bit low confidence). She sounded pretty smitten over the phone (qualifying herself, multiple apologies). I think that, as well as the friend talking me up would negate any AFC qualities that not waiting for her text would imply.

So the question is seddit; * Give her until Thursday to text. Call her to arrange a date if she doesn't text. * Wait until she contacts me.

To me, both have their advantages and disadvantages. Comments?
