Taking this chick out to the tree lighting at Rockefeller Center tomorrow -- met her through mutual friend and we hit it off so this'll be our first "Date" per se.

Unlike the last chick I dated, I haven't been texting her much as we set plans last week and so I've tried not to seem to interested/seem like I'm busy (I fucking am...) and also just to not run out of things to talk to her about and basically reveal too much of my mystery or whatever.

I'll probably text her today and chat a bit, but like my problem is: I always have way too high expectations of the date myself --> Leads to nervousness / if one little thing goes wrong the fantasy is ruined / if I don't fuck her it'll be a failure (which it will, but it's a self-fulfilling prophecy if I'm conscious about that fact).

So that's one thing, but I can at least ignore that but should I be setting her expectations high? We all know the adage "Under promise and over deliver" .. with the last girl I dated I set expectations super high, and obviously that failed, but I heard some study they did where people who went in more excited and expectant actually enjoyed the event more than people who "had no expectations".

Idk I'm just nervous I guess?
