Hey seddit, been a long-time lurker on this sub. I recently got out of a long distance relationship and jumped straight back onto tinder and the likes of tinder. I was excited to get back into the dating field after six or seven months.

I'm usually nervous on dates. Sometimes it's just hard to be myself. I'd have trouble sometimes making a eye contact, so I set a personal goal for myself that I'd start that straight away... slowly but surely I've gotten much better at eye contact and as a side effect of that it's reduced my nervousness because being the one to maintain eye contact made me feel well more in control of the date/event.

My next goal was to be a little more physical - not in bed, just harmless pats, hand holding, etc on said dates and be comfortable with it. This goal took a little longer to get down but once it was, it gave me power to get into close proximity with girls and hold it without backing away nervously, which was the key to my next goal...

Kissing her on the first date. For anybody like me who is fairly inexperienced this seems like a nightmare! But after setting it as my next goal, in combination with the previous two goals I'd completed and some tricks, it actually looked promising, and indeed it was; of the last five dates I've gone out with these past two weeks, all of them have ended with at least a kiss, and as a side effect of the enticement and turning her on enough, two of those dates have ended in the bedroom. Less than a year ago I would have NEVER thought it was possible for me to finish a first date back at hers or my place.

I think setting small goals one at a time will help enhance your romantic life a ton. The key phrase is "one at a time"; don't overload yourself with goals you're trying to get done at the same time because you probably won't get a single one down. I never thought I'd be capable of being truly confident on first dates, but here I am - the change is amazing, and anyone can do this. I'm happy with my growth and my next goal is stepping up my compliments game.
