If she starts texting me some texts which is not related to date I often reply:
"Let's save it/talk about it on <Monday>" Monday being day of the date.
Usually they get the hint

What if she says she has to schedule it for next weekend because of whatever reason. For example, I propose we meet this weekend but she says she won’t be available so we schedule for the next. Isn’t that a long while for a date?

Yeah it is.
From practice usually it means she is ghosting you.
But if she initiates a conversation. Then, yes. I would keep talking.

Ok and would you recommend if you don’t have nothing to talk about on the date after that whole week of talking?

There are multiple techniques to use of not running out of what to talk about:
Google it. "Best topics to talk about on first date" and learn those topics
Use the technique where you choose a word from previous sentence, and then use that word in a second sentence.
Practice of talking random stuff. Choose any random item like a "pen" put on timer and talk about it for 2 min.

Great thanks! And also, what do you do or say when she wants to talk about negative topics such as how bad her job is, how bad the economy is, etc?

If she starts to go on rampage about something negative. I just say
"Okay. Will stop you here. I don't want to hear about this. And trust me, you don't want to talk about it either. Maybe tell me your first most happy memory from your childhood".
If she starts talking about politics or other boring topics
"Yeah. You know what. Let's not go into that now. Better, let's imagine you have all the money in a world? What would you do?"

I disagree with the other guy, nothing wrong with having a conversation through text/dms before meeting up with the girl. In fact, I would argue that it's good to build a bit of rapport with them beforehand or else you risk getting flaked on when the date comes around.
If you're worried about running out of topics when you meet her, then you need to work on your conversational skills. The advice the other guy gave with regards to that is useful.
