Bro, you just got to do it. I fucking hate having to approach, but you can't wait for everything to fall into your lap. Wait for a good song to come on, stand up, touch her on the shoulder, and ask her to dance. Swallow your pride. If she says no, or leaves you after one song, at least you gave it a shot. As long as you tried, it's her loss for not being into you, but if you do nothing at all, it will ALWAYS be YOUR fault that nothing happened.

Same prob. I have a friend that goes GO TALK NOW OR I WILL. Then pushes me. If you have a good friend that will do that it takes the first step out of the equation. I also am competitive so that helps.

AA never entirely goes away. Now isn't that thought a bit relieving. It never goes away, and yet things are always happening between boys and girls. Proof that you can work with some anxious feelings in you. Now on to relieving it a bit.

You've got nothing to lose when you approach someone. Rejection is meaningless.

Overthinking is really the enemy. You were probably thinking "WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO/SAY?" You're probably imagining at least one hypothetical rejection. Asking 'how?' like it's some mystery.

The solution? Take a deep slow breath, and try to think about nothing during it. When you blank your mind, the minimum thoughts in your brain is one of desire. By taking that deep breath and calming your taking your mind back to instinct. Your instinct isn't "how??" your instinct is "damn, I want that.".

And that's where you need your mind to be now "how?", but "I want that.".
