Think I failed a kind of extreme shit test, or avoided a crazy bitch, hard to tell. I'd set up a second date with this girl. We'd previously arranged to meet up to go for something at a certain time slot that I booked, then she said she was out of town, but would be back sometime that evening. I went to the thing we'd booked by myself, cause I wanted to go anyway. When she messaged saying she was back, I told her I'd gone to this thing without her, but it had just finished. She flipped out asking why I'd booked it without her confirming (even though I thought she had) and asked if I'd had other options of people to go with. She was just generally being completely unreasonable. There seemed to be major misunderstanding/miscommunication about the whole thing.

I messaged the next day clarifying everything, kind of a longish message, to clear things up, and also said I didn't appreciate being made to feel like I'd done something wrong when I hadn't, but I was sorry if there had been a misunderstanding.

She replied saying she was just stressed, and said sorry. I didn't respond until much later, asking if she wanted to do something another day, and she immediately just asked why it had taken me ages to respond. More confrontational crazy bitch vibes. We messaged for quite a bit then, and basically she said she was hot headed, that there was negative energy now, we shouldn't date etc, maybe be friends etc. We talked about other stuff and both seemed to chill out a bit. When I asked she said she asked about me going with someone else to test if I was honest.

Not sure if I'm overthinking it, but on reflection I think the whole thing was a test, not of me being honest, but just how I'd respond. She acted super unreasonable and crazy, and I responded by trying to explain and placate her, and came across as too invested, or not self sufficient enough. Tbh if I'd have been more honest I would have just told her she was being crazy. Think that would have been the better way to go. If it was a test to see if I'd.put up with unreasonable bullshit and be reactive, I failed. Lesson learned, never put up with bullshit, especially if the girl is really hot.
