I was just thinking about this and had to see what this sub thought: basically, the male version of shittesting would be to answer a potential lover's question of "what do you do for a living?" or similar fishing for power/money/status indicators with a George Constanza-esque "I'm unemployed and I live with my parents", or fry cook at Burger King, or some such. But you'd say it with such "confidence" (that word again) that the subtextual communication would override the superficial message. I suppose then that "level 2" shittesting would be to FAKE a lack of confidence...to act your way into a neckbeard-type role, and see what the response was. I dunno...I guess this could get dangerous :D
