We're talking about an introverted girl who doesn't have a boyfriend. I see that she is not shy with other people, but only shows emotions with her closest friends. Other than that, she is stone cold.

I didn't get the chance to talk to her. I have been trying for a while, but she is slippery.

She is my cousins best friend. She works at a bar over the weekend. Some time ago, when she came to take our order, she and I made very strong eye contact. A couple of times after that, she sent me signals. We are talking months between signals, she always did it from the other side of the room. Signals like standing there for 10 seconds and staring. When I looked and then looked away, she continued to stare for a few seconds and then left.

It took me some time to realize that there might be something there. When I did, I started going to the bar more often. Hoping that I would get the opportunity to talk to her.

A few days ago, she and my cousin were there (and a bunch of their friends). I approached their table and talked to my cousin. The girl I am interested in was nervous and looking at the table. I said 'hi' and shook her hand. She looked at me, smiled a bit and looked at the table again. She was with people all the time.

Today, this girl was working and she was alone. But she continued to talk to her boss almost the entire time. My friend told me that she looked at our table a few times. Finally, when her boss went away. I approached to pay for the drinks and talk to her. She didn't give me a chance to talk. She was talking faster and avoiding eye contact. And then some guys came to pay for their drinks and interrupted me.

So I did what I could. When I was taking my change from her hand. I touched her fingers (all I wanted is to subtly say to her that I like her without saying a word). When I did this, her fingers twitched a bit and she pulled her hand away.

I did this "hand touching" with many other women before, but none of them reacted this way. I felt that they like this "hand touching gesture".

I am puzzled about this girls behavior. I want to talk to her and my intuition tells me that she is actually making this more difficult for me. But in the same time, she looks at me when I can't see (my friend noticed this).

I know that there is very little information here, I don't have more and I am getting frustrated.
