So I grab a girl by the hand and pull her in. I say: You're cute, what your name? She introduces herself and we are making dumb jokes back and forth.

I tell her I'm the judge of the dance battle on the floor and that her friends (who I was chatting up earlier) were winning, and if she didn't step it up I'd be forced to throw her out. She called me a dick and said that wasn't how you make a first impression. She pushed me away and said that I should sit in the corner and think before I talk.

I'm torn. On one hand I'm trying to look back and see where I might have gone wrong with reading her personality and making jerkish jokes.

On the other hand I usually just try to do what makes me laugh and have a good time.
