I work with my dad in a private branch of Chevron gas stations. He is the general manager (the manager of the managers) and I'm just an entry level cashier and maintance guy.

So one day I go to one of the out of town stations for like an hours work and I meet one of the new managers, Maricella, who is actually a pretty cool person. The next morning my dad gets a call early, and it's Maricella asking my dad if I have work that day. When he responds with a yes, apparently she says "Good, then he can meet my daughter."

So I go to work and behind the counter there's this beautiful girl working the cashier. Maricella comes up and introduces me to the girl, who is her daughter, Nicolette, or Nicky. She was very pleasant and I definitely developed an interest in her. However, we were both kept pretty busy that day and didn't have much time to talk.

A month later, out schedules line up again and we spend some more time together. This day was much slower, so we spent most of our time talking. Being the awkward fuck I am, I have trouble with conversation. So I quite literally talked about anything I could think of. It turned out alright, and she showed that she was interested in our conversation. A few more months pass, and our schedules haven't lined up.

My high school band (which I'm in) is having a concert one night, and I invite both Maricella and Nicky through my dad. I planned to get Nicky's number that night, but Maricella kept talking, and didn't give me much room to do so without interrupting. (Also, Nicky brought her best friend along, which is a good sign according to my dad?) So they leave after the concert with compliments of how good we did and how much they liked it etc, but I didn't get her number. Regretting this, I sware to myself I will get it the next time I see her.

It's been over three months now, and I still haven't seen her. My dad told me at one point that some employees at the particular station Nicky works at have been giving her trouble, so has asked to be given less hours/ hours in which she doesn't have to work with them. So her hours have been completely wiped. I don't know how long this will go for, since her mom is her manager and has control of her hours, and I really want to see Nicky again. Hell, I've even considered asking her mom for her number, but that is just WAY to embarrassing.

What do you think seddit? Should I ask Maricella for Nicky's number? Or should I keep waiting and hoping that she'll come back to work?

Edit: I should add that me and Nicky are both 17, can't drive, and we're cities apart. For some reason her and her mom work here but live there.
